Q: What inspired you to work with wildlife?
It wasn’t really a choice. I feel like it’s all that made sense. It called me.
Q: What’s one unforgettable moment you’ve had in the wild?
One that jumps to my mind right now, finding my first black leopard. It took months of planning and a few days of tracking with a local security officer. It was just me and him and this incredibly beautiful creature that I had dreamed of all my life. I still struggle to describe the awe of that moment.
Q: What do you want people to feel when they see your work?
Love for nature and the need to stand up for or natural world.
Q: What’s one place you could return to forever?
Anywhere where I can share my time with big cats in their world.
Q: What’s one thing you always take into the field?
A snack. With a full belly anything is possible.
